My name is Joe and I am the founder of Shed Perfect. I decided to start Shed Perfect after my own frustration trying to buy a shed for my backyard. I went to the large home centers but couldn’t believe the prices they wanted for such low quality sheds.

I also compared pre-built sheds that you see on lots. Although these sheds were better quality, there was still a major drawback… The size and configuration did not match exactly what I needed. There was always a compromise between size, layout, features, color, etc.

Frustrated, I decided to come up with my own shed design to fill the gap. The design I came up with worked perfect. Not only is the design high quality and attractive, It gives you the flexibility to build your shed exactly how you want. Plus they can be built almost anywhere.

We Build On Site

Built on site means you get to customize the exact shed you want. The door and window placement, shingle color, and other options are customizable to suit your needs. We offer plenty of additional options like higher walls, custom paint colors, extra doors and windows, along with shutters and flower boxes as well.

Our sheds can be built where a pre-built shed can’t be delivered. That enables us to build in confined, difficult, or remote locations. We hand carry all the materials to the site, or in some cases, use a powered material cart. That means you won’t have to worry about taking down fences or preparing the site, like installing a gravel pad.

Our Shed Construction

Solid Block Footings

We level your shed on solid cement blocks making sure the base does not directly come in contact with the ground. This ensures years of service without rot or insect damage.

2x6 Floor Construction

We use 2×6 treated floor joist, spaced 16″ on center. The sheathing is 3/4″ plywood. Resulting in a floor that is super strong and will stand the test of time.

2x4 Wall Construction

We frame all our walls with hand picked top choice 2×4 wall studs. 24″ on center spacing is standard, but will upgrade to 16″ on center if requested. Some other companies use 2×3 wall studs.

LP Smart Side Wall Panels

We use LP Smartside for our shed walls. It is an exterior grade panel pre primed a natural tan color. It is treated so it will not absorb water, and repels insects like termites.

White No Maintenance PVC Trim

If you look at old sheds you quickly realize that the first thing to deteriorate is the trim boards used. We eliminate that from happening on our sheds by only using PVC trim boards. They never need paint and they will never rot.

Locking Door Tee Handle

Our sheds come standard with a locking tee handle and keys. This helps to keep all of the contents in your shed secure.

Heavy Duty 6" Hinges

We use heavy duty 6″ door hinges on all of our sheds. Some other companies use cheap piano hinges that are weak and don’t hold up. With our hinges your doors will never sag or become loose.

30 Year Architectural Shingles

We offer a choice of five popular shingle colors to choose from. Match to your home or go for a personalized style. Architectural shingles give the roof an attractive appearance.

Gable Vents

We include gable air vents on all our sheds. Some companies charge extra. This allows the shed to breathe and help prevent moisture build up.

4" Roof Overhangs

Our sheds have a 4″ overhang around the roofline to help keep the shed dry in bad weather. Plus the overhand gives the shed an attractive look. We also include drip edge standard.
